I graduated from Western in 2023 and came right back to work on my master's degree and plan to go on to a PhD. If you want an example of what a math senior project can look like, you can find mine on CEDAR, just look up my name.

I'm a big fan of math and like most of it, primarily in the areas of algebra and analysis. But I also just adore calculus, in particular slightly tricky 1D problems, which I can happily spend way too much time doing. 

I'm currently working on my master's project on the Jones polynomial and knot theory. Still trying to get my head around that.

Outside of math, I play the flute (going on 12 or 13 years now), love Star Wars, technology, and all manner of nerdy things. I'm always happy to going into long discussions about math or any of these things!
