Abstract

Weak and Strong Invariance of Differential Inclusions

Differential inclusions are a generalization of differential equations that are
especially useful in the field of control theory. Due to the nature of differential
inclusions, trajectories starting from a given point are not unique.
When considering whether solutions will stay within a given region or not,
we must split this idea up into the properties of weak and strong invariance.
In this talk, we will explore the basics of differential inclusions, and the
tools necessary to understand the conditions for weak and strong invariance.
