Abstract
Student Paths & Success in WWU First Year Mathematics: An Exploratory Data Analysis
This is an ongoing research project, and we will share the current results of our exploratory data analysis of students’ paths through, and success in, WWU First Year Mathematics courses.
The presentation will include, but is not limited to:
- how this research came about,
- an update of the path analysis based on feedback from the RAW Stats presentation,
- reconsidering the statistics related to the report, First Year Mathematics at Western Washington University: Observations, Conclusions, and Recommendations (Miller, 2017),
- future research plans and research potential,
- discussion and feedback.
