Abstract
Facilitating Student Engagement via Unsupervised Online Group Discussions
Among the many challenges raised due to COVID, adapting to online teaching and learning is equally stressful for educators and students. In this presentation, I discuss strategies I have employed to encourage student engagement in online courses especially in asynchronous, and blended settings. In addition, I will be discussing the approaches explored and implemented to make connections with the students and to enhance the students’ online learning experience.
